What is Reformer Pilates
Reformer Pilates is a workout that uses a machine called a reformer to build the foundation for proper form in a full-body workout that targets strength, flexibility, and stability. The reformer works your body in a challenging, low-impact way that is easy on the joints. This is an exercise that uses muscle movement, not momentum, with minimal risk and helps with injury prevention and rehab.
What is Hot Pilates
The infrared heat of hot pilates penetrates your body to loosen your muscles, making it easier to stretch, move, and recover. The heat encourages sweating, which helps flush out toxins and speeds up the metabolism. All classes in the hot room will be at a maximum range of 95-100 degrees.
What do I need to know for my first class?
Please arrive 5 minutes early to your first class. The instructor will go over the use of the reformer and how to operate it, show you around the studio, and answer any questions.
Do I need sticky socks?
Sticky socks are required for all reformer classes. They can be purchased at the studio.
What do I wear/bring to hot class?
All hot classes require a yoga towel to cover the mats. Towels can be rented at the studio.
What do I wear/bring to reformer class?
The same attire that you’d wear to the gym or a yoga class. We recommend tights, leggings, or shorts. Sticky socks are required in Reformer classes and a large yoga towel for all Hot classes.
How many people are in each class?
A total of 9 clients in the Pilates classes & 14 total in Hot Pilates & yoga classes.
How often should I attend classes?
How often you train will depend on your fitness level, how your body adapts to the workouts, and your fitness goals. Our trainers would be happy to assist you with these questions.
I can’t make it to class. What should I do?
You are able to modify your booking up until 12 hours prior to your booked class.
Are there any special requirements during pregnancy?
Clients who attend Rare Body Studio while pregnant are welcome to attend throughout each trimester. If you are new to Rare Body Studio, private sessions are required. After the 15-week mark of pregnancy, specific modifications need to be addressed while participating in group fitness classes.
Are there any special requirements postnatal?
Please wait until you have received the all clear from your 6-week check-up and notify the trainer when attending your first class postnatal.
Can I still do Pilates if I have an injury?
It will depend on your injury and your road to recovery. Group classes involve a full body workout, so in some instances, this can be challenging for the injured client and the trainer. Private sessions are strongly advised to start.
What temperature is the hot pilates/yoga room set at?
We keep our rooms set between 95 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
Do you offer any complimentary classes?
No, we do not, but we do offer some AMAZING new client deals. Check out our pricing pages.
Can I switch to a different class after signing up for one?
With a 3-hour notice, MONTHLY members are able to switch to another class that is the same day with no penalty. You must reach out to the studio to make the switch. The system will not allow you to do it on your end. We do not allow you to switch your class to a different day.
Cancellation Policy:
Private-session cancellations can be made up to 24 hours in advance; Group Class cancellations, 12 hours in advance. If you cancel a private session and/or a group class made within the 24-hour and 12-hour cancellation windows, you will lose the session and/or class. You are allowed to change a booked class as long as it is in the same day of the scheduled class booked. This is for members ONLY and 3-hour notice must be given to make this change. The app will not give you access to make this change, so you will need to contact the studio via text or phone call. We do not allow different-day class changes. No-shows will be subject to an additional $20 fee per class. For unlimited members, there is an $8 charge for late cancelations with a 6-hour window prior to class start time. If you are more than 5 minutes late to your booked reservation, you will not be permitted into class.

All purchases are final. We do not offer partial or full refunds.
Expiration Policy:
All packages have an expiration policy. Please read the details on each purchase option. Classes for members do not roll over to the next month. If you don't use all the classes within your month, you will lose those sessions.
